Scottish YouTuber and kilted yoga sensation Finlay Wilson decided to make Pride extra special this year.
Wilson was participating in the parade in D.C., riding on a float after being invited to represent the UK by the British Embassy, when he took the microphone and directed his attention to his boyfriend, Alan Lambie.
“Alan, ever since we met, you’ve been doing everything to make me a better person,” he said, “and I have a very important question for you.”
The crowd caught on quickly as he jumped down from the float and dropped to one knee in front of Alan. The bf wasted absolutely no time in nodding his head yes, and the two kissed as confetti exploded and all the people around them cheered.

Wilson first caught the public’s attention with a video with a video he did for the BBC about doing yoga in kilts.
He and Alan have been dating for around two years, and according to The Courier, he had been thinking about proposing for months.
“I was so overwhelmed,” Wilson said. “As soon as we had to start walking there were tears in my eyes.”
“It’s a wonderful feeling to know that people take heart from us just being us.”
