Alicia Silverstone Back on The Big Screen in a Clueless Sequel

It’s been over a decade since the on-screen perfection that was Amy Heckerling’s Clueless.

It made Alicia Silverstone a household name; anonymous Aerosmith video vixen no more!

It’s proof Brittany Murphy had plastic surgery. Hello? Compare the nose on her in the 90’s classic to anything made when she came back all blonde.

But I digress, Clueless, a charming tale of love and friendship loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma was a blockbuster back in 1995.

Now Star Magazine reports Cher herself, Alicia Silverstone has been spotted hanging around with writer/director Heckerling.

Sources say the ladies have been getting together to talk, “about the script they’re working on and how exciting this is for them.”

Another source says, “It’s been a dream of Alicia’s to bring Cher back to the big screen. Amy is writing it, but Alicia is giving her tons of ideas.”

Hmm, what could a Clueless sequel hold over 13 years after the original was released… Cher as a divorcee demanding alimony? Married to cutie/ex-step brother Paul Rudd and caring for a newborn? Some Beverly Hills Mommy & Me classes for Cher and Dion?

With all the crap that populates the multiplex lately, a second romp in Cher’s fun world could be a welcome hit with audiences.
