Christina Ricci and her fiance, comedian Owen Benjamin will not be saying "I do" after all. The couple has called off their engagement over the weekend according to Perez.
The 5-foot-1 Ricci had been dating 6-foot-6 boyfriend Owen since they met on set of their movie All's Faire in Love - a movie about two rival Medieval shows that vie for supremacy in the world of Renaissance Faire. The duo went public with their relationship in October of 2008 and got engaged last March.
According to a souce, "They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."
Prior to Benjamin, Ricci dated Adam Goldberg from 2003 until 2006.
Actor/comedian Benjamin is best known for his role as Marvin in the comedy The House Bunny opposite Anna Farris.
Ricci's rep had no comment.
