Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been spotted out and about sporting Joan Jett’s retro signature black mullet for her role playing Jett in the biopic The Runaways. But now, rumor has it that Stewart and her costar Dakota Fanning will get into a lesbian love scene in a hotel room for the flick, according to Examiner.com.

Fanning, 15, stars as the The Runaways lead singer Cherie Currie, a 17-year-old punk / glam rock star in the mold of David Bowie during the band’s heyday in the late seventies.

Stewart, 19, who is now famous for her Twilight role, kick-started her career playing Jodie Foster’s diabetic daughter in David Fincher’s claustrophobic thriller Panic Room.

The much anticipated The Runaways is even more intriguing now that Stewart and Fanning are slated for a Sapphic encounter, which has been hailed as an “intense love scene,” set in a hotel room.
