New Hampshire Governor John Lynch announced he will sign the bill for gay marriage in NH, making it the sixth state legalizing marriage rights for same-sex couples. While he wants additional changes to be made by the Legislature, he has said he will sign, according to New Hampshire Public Radio. Those changes are not available yet.
This news comes just over a week after both Houses of the General Court passed the legislation.Â
Assuming the Legislature agrees, the bill will become effective in January.Â
