Caitlin Cahow on being honored to be an official delegate to the Sochi Olympics.

President Obama named Openly gay Olympic hockey player Caitlin Cahow –along with Billie Jean King – to the delegation headed to the Sochi Olympics. Cahow appeared on The Today Show with Matt Lauer this morning to discuss her going to Russia on behalf of the United States.

At one point Lauer asks if Cahow thinks she would have been chosen for the job if she weren’t gay.

Watch how Cahow deftly handles his question, along with everything else he fires at her.
