Another Love Island contestant has left the villa, but not in the most conventional way for the notoriously messy reality dating series.
The show was originally a series in the U.K. and is in the thick of its second U.S. season. Contestants looking to find love have to couple up with each other and vye for a prize of $100,000.
Earlier this week, three new boys entered the house, including 24-year-old Noah Purvis. Just as Purvis was acclimating to life in the house, he was snatched out by CBS producers.
It seems that viewers connected Purvis to his alter-ego named Ethan, who is credited with appearances on popular gay porn videos from studios like Corbin Fisher. Once CBS saw that the comparisons began gaining traction on Twitter, Purvis was swiftly yanked from the villa with no explanation and quietly edited out of the show's footage.
Out reports that "executives at the network didn’t like" Purvis' gay porn past, though it's unclear why.
"It has been brought to our attention that cast member Noah Purvis provided false information on his application to Love Island, which violates his contestant agreement," a CBS statement read. "He has been removed from the show."
Despite the network's best efforts, fans have noticed Purvis' exit.
