Pretty Little Liars' Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell navigate the afterlife in this short film that premiered Monday.

We’re filing this under things that make us go “huh?” in the best way possible! Pretty Little Liars’ Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell (who plays the show’s out Liar Emily) star in the short Immediately Afterlife, which had its world premiere yesterday at LA Shorts Fest. And, there’s a trailer for it! Cut to a lot of Troian and Shay running around in bed sheets while whipping their chestnut tresses around, but that’s just fine with us.

We’re just mad that we missed the world premiere! Here’s the synopsis for the film:

Bennett (Troian Bellisario) and Marissa (Shay Mitchell) are the sole survivors of the final suicidal act of their religious cult. Confused, relieved, angry and unfulfilled, the two followers each question one another's motives for joining, living, and surviving under the control of their Leader. Faced with their own doubts, Bennett and Marissa must confront their feelings and fears while deciding what life to live after near-death.

So far there’s no mash-up name for Troian and Shay’s PLL characters but it might be time. Our friend @tweetdeguerre came up with “Fieldings,” which is a definite keeper.

Watch the trailer for Immediately Afterlife below.
