There’s a lot they don’t teach you in sex ed. Actually, what DID they teach you in sex ed? How to put on a condom and STDs. That’s it. All the other stuff you found out the hard way. Here’s what I wish my high school sex ed teacher taught me.

1. There’s no such thing as too much lube.

2. Anal sometimes gets a little messy. Get over it.

3. If you have consistent feelings don’t ignore them.

4. Be versatile—in every sense of the word.

5. It’s normal for your sperm to sometimes have a yellowish tinge. Don’t freak out.

6. Sex is nothing like porn.

7. There are so many different types of sex. Not just casual and love-making.

8. Your dick size is just fine.

9. Condoms are awful… STDs are worse. Wear them.

10. Relax on the power drilling. You’re not a porn star. And you can’t do it for more than 15 seconds anyway.

11. You can love someone sexy without being sexually attracted to them. Keep them as friends.

12. It’s not the end of the world if you can’t get it up.

13. Have louder sex. Don’t force it, but don’t curb it either.

14. Get tested more. There’s no such thing as getting tested too often.

15. Be amazing at oral. It’ll rock their world.

16. Don’t be embarrassed to say what you want/like.

18. Don’t slut shame.

19. Don’t prude shame.

20. Care less about your numbers. It doesn’t matter how many people you’ve had sex with.

21. Care less about their numbers. How does that affect you in any way?

22. Foreplay is hot. Build the anticipation.

23. Kissing is surprisingly intimate. It’s not always first base.

24. Don’t have sex on a waterbed. It doesn’t work.

25. Sex in a car isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

26. Sex in a body of water isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

27. Sex in front of a mirror is all it’s cracked up to be.

28. Eye contact is 10x more intense during sex.

29. Don’t be that girl who bites her lip until it bleeds. It’s not sexy. It’s annoying

30. Experiment with BDSM. It may not be right for you, but there might be some components that drive you wild.

31. Role play.

32. Your sex life only dies when you’re in a committed relationship if you let it.

33. Don’t go out to clubs with the intention of getting laid. Go out to have fun… then you’ll probably get laid…

34. Expand your type of woman or man. You’ll be surprised by how much you actually like.

35. Men, trim your bush more often. For your sake and his.

44. Don’t be fooled by sweet talkers.

45. It’s equally as greedy only caring about their orgasm as it is yours. If you only care about theirs, you’re psychologically “getting off” when they have it. Care about both equally.

50. Sex doesn’t have to stop once your orgasm. It only stops if you let it stop. They are other things you can do to keep it going.
