The newest rallying cry against sexual assault and harassment echoed across all forms of social media this past Sunday in the form of the #MeToo movement. Actress Alyssa Milano started off the trend after a Twitter post of hers went viral.

"If all the people who were sexually harassed or assaulted wrote 'Me too.' as a status, we might get a sense of the magnitude of the problem," Milano wrote after a friend of hers suggested it to her.

Almost instantly, Twitter was flooded with responses and personal accounts from survivors of sexual assault, with #MeToo showing up every which way. The movement also drew participation from some celebrities, including the entries below, all of which culminates to speaking volumes about the state of our society.
