Kristen Stewart Rumored As Purple-Haired Lesbian In 'A Taxonomy of Barnacles'

Rumor has it that Twilight darling Kristen Stewart may be attached to A Taxonomy of Barnacles, a comedy based on Galt Nierderhoffer’s novel, with Jeff Bridges, Anne Hathaway and Maggie Gyllenhaal, directed by Nanette Burstein. Stewart will play Beth Barnacle, a “pot-smoking purple-haired lesbian who suffers the defeat of unrequited love." This would be Stewart's second lesbian role having played Joan Jett in The Runaways.

Stewart will supposedly play Beth Barnacle, a “pot-smoking purple-haired lesbian who suffers the defeat of unrequited love,” reports Alt Film Guide. Should Stewart end up playing Beth, she will officially have two lesbian characters on her resume, as she played Joan Jett in The Runaways in 2010.

A Taxonomy of Barnacles is set in New York and focuses on six Barnacle sisters who each have their own set of problems, and the one who best keeps up the Barnacle family line will score their father’s fortune.

It’s safe to say that Stewart could never play a lesbian too many times, not to mention that she could look super hot with purple hair and a broken heart.
