'Portlandia's' Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen Cover Salt -n-Pepa's 'Push It'

Here’s a fun video for your Thursday! Portlandia luminaries Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen -- along with Mirah and Thao -- perform Salt –n- Pepa’s “Push It” for your aural – and visual—pleasure.

Former Sleater-Kinney guitarist Brownstein’s and Saturday Night Live alumna Fred Armisen lovingly skewer the hipster haven that is Portland, Or. in their sketch comedy show Portlandia.

But there is also Portandia: The Tour, an evening of live music and sketches, with lesbian musician Mirah and her current music project collaborator Thao Nguyen opening the show.

Judging from the clip of “Push It,” a good time is had by all on Portlandia: The Tour.
