The new Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol movie offers something even the biggest Tom Cruise hater may find worth the price of admission: The lovely Paula Patton in an all-out brawl against Lea Seydoux.

More than just some titillating, oiled-up girl fight; there is an amazing amount of skill, precision, and all out maliciousness brought to a great battle scene between two fierce actresses. Since these heroines and femme fatale’s have moves to rival that of any male action stars, and (arguably) look way better all sweaty and beat up, Complex.com compiled an amazing list of the 25 best girl-on-girl fight scenes of film. And they included quite a few selections that should especially pique LGBTQ ladies’ attention.

Careful, these vicious babes are every bit as deadly as they are beautiful.

Sure, there was the obvious Kill Bill battle royals between a yellow-track suited Uma Thurman and one-eyed Darryl Hannah… and samurai Lucy Lui… and that vicious knife fight with Vivica A. Fox. Oh, and of course, the match-up against the very crazy 88 GoGo in her school girl uniform, Chiaki Kurimaya.

70s cinema-queen Pam Grier kicks butt a few times on the list, as does iconic silver screen goddess Raquel Welch once, in roller skates as a buxom derby darling in Kansas City Bomber, and of course, who could forget Welch facing off with Martine Beswick in fur bikinis in One Million Years B.C.

Contemporary classics like Total Recall, with a menacing (yet strangely fully-clothed) Sharon Stone, Jamie Lee Curtis in a hot black dress beating down Tia Carrere in True Lies, and Rachel Weisz’s golden sword (technically, sai) play with Patricia Velasquez in The Mummy Returns all make for fierce entries. But for SheWired readers, the chilling, double-vision of watching Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bridget Fonda’s final fight scene in Single White Female is pure fight delight.

And while some forgettable films like Bandidas are only remembered for the sizzling, clothes ripping brawl between Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek, Complex really did it’s homework and even gives honorable mention to 60s sexploitation B movie giant, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. Director Russ Meyer never missed an opportunity to throw in a buxom babe throw down scene. In Pussycat!, a classic cat-fight breaks out “in the beginning between Haji and Lori Williams, who go at it in a desert oasis.”
