Life is imitating art for Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez. Well, except she's not a lesbian in real life but her character on ABC's hit show, lady-loving doctor Callie Torrez, just married Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) on screen, and now Ramirez is now preparing for her own wedding in real life.
“Sara Ramirez and her longtime partner, Ryan Debolt, are thrilled to announce their engagement which took place in Paris, France, on June 17, 2011,” her rep confirmed to E! News.
While we love Ramirez happy hunkered down in her same-sex marriage on screen, we couldn’t be happier for her and her fiancé (even if we are a little jealous of the proposal in Paris)!
