The best thing about Jane Lynch’s non-Glee work may be the promos she does to let us know about them. She’s pitched for the National Center for Lesbian Rights (with wife Lara), PETA and now she has four new promos for the ‘Do Something Awards.”
DoSomething.org and VH1 have teamed to present the awards to honor teens and young people’s commitment to social change. Lynch will host the awards show at 9 pm July 19 on VH1.
DoSomething.org has been honoring the 25 and under set since 1996. They also salute entertainers and entertainment that dedicate time and resources to activism and charity projects. Comedians Ellen DeGeneres, gay-fav Kathy Griffin, and TV show Glee are among the nominees.
The promos feature Lynch at her irreverently funny best ... and she even manages to get bleeped and show some cleavage!
