The Glee machine is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Over the show’s two season’s the prime time musical has consistently portrayed LGBT themes and characters in positive ways earning the show—and its cast—several awards in the process.
 
With the recent announcement of nominations for the Teen Choice Awards, it looks like the number of awards for the cast of Glee could very likely increase in number very soon.
 
Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch has been nominated for Best Villain as Glee’s resident baddie Sue Sylvester. However, she’s up against Justin Bieber’s guest appearance on CSI for the award.
 
Other Glee cast nominations include Amber Riley and Dianna Agron for Female Scene Stealer along witth with Mark Saling and Chis Colfer for Male Scene Stealer. While we're happy for Amber and Dianna, we do totally wish Naya Rivera landed a nomination for her terrific portrayal of Santana coming out as a lesbian.
 
The awards show will air on FOX on Sunday, August 7th at 8pm ET/PT.
