Lady Gaga, fresh off her appearances in Washington at the HRC dinner and the National Equality March, has announced plans for an upcoming North American tour – called "The Monster Ball." Gaga and Kanye West announced cancellation of their Fame Kills tour without explanation. Gaga later explained that West would take some time off and she would hit the road with her own tour.
The Gaga tour, with support from rapper Kid Cudi, will begin November 27 at the Bell Center in Montreal. Current plans call for 22 shows finishing with two dates at Radio City Music Hall in New York on January 20-21, 2010.
'The Monster Ball' had been scheduled to premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but preps were accelerated. Gaga calls 'The Monster Ball' “a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera.' "
On November 23, Gaga will release the re-packaged version of her debut, The Fame, called The Fame Monster.
