Following Apple's announcement of its new social network Ping,  Gawker noticed that something seemed not-quite-right. It appeared as though some gay-themed tweets had disappeared in the version of Lady Gaga's feed shown in the demonstration of Apple's new social network. Apple omitted an entire string of tweets - the ones in which Lady Gaga applauded the court ruling against the anti-gay marriage law in California - for its announcement of Ping, the iTunes-based social network aimed at connecting users with artists and other music fans.
