We’re excited to see the talented Julianne Moore tackle playing the prickly Sarah Palin in an upcoming HBO movie (Game Change), but did you know she almost starred as former First Lady and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in The Special Relationship?

The past HBO special, which starred Dennis Quaid as Bill Clinton, originally costarred Moore but she ultimately dropped out of the project to star in The Kids Are All Right (much to her lesbian fans’ delight) and Hope Davis ultimately stepped into the role of Hillary.

But, before leaving the film, Moore did complete a stunning transformation for make up tests. Check out the compelling photo of her best Clinton:
