‘All Stars 8’ is juicy, dramatic, and messy!

Paramount+
After three episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8, fans are starting to understand which queens are leading the pack to enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
While some queens are already accusing All Stars 8 of favoritism, the competition is moving right along on Paramount+. In the end, only one queen will win the grand prize of $200,000, while an eliminated queen will have the chance to win the new Fame Games title and a cash prize of $50,000.
With track records based on three episodes, we now have a better understanding of how each queen stands on All Stars 8.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 airs Fridays on Paramount+.
9. Darienne Lake
Darienne Lake has now landed in the bottom twice. She unfortunately hasn’t had a single “high” placement in the competition, nor has she won a maxi challenge. Things aren’t looking all that great for Ms. Lake, but she’s still very much in this competition and could turn the beat around in the next few episodes.
8. Heidi N Closet
Though she’s had one “high” placement on All Stars 8, the judges are clearly sleeping on Heidi N Closet. Many fans are arguing that Closet should’ve been in the top for the ball challenge, and perhaps should’ve even won it. Alas, that’s not what actually transpired, and this queen is already talking about potentially quitting the show.
7. Alexis Michelle
Alexis Michelle has been doing pretty well on All Stars 8 so far, earning herself a “high” placement at the premiere and being deemed “safe” for the next two episodes. Though she hasn’t won a challenge yet, it feels like it’s only a matter of time for Michelle to be the Top All Star of the week in the near future.
6. Kandy Muse
Just like Alexis Michelle, Kandy Muse has yet to win a challenge but has been doing consistently well in the competition. Though she did get some negative critiques in the ball challenge for wearing the same silhouette, Muse is once again charming the judges and being a great Drag Race contestant.
5. LaLa Ri
As far as the judges are concerned, LaLa Ri has redeemed herself in the All Stars 8 ball challenge after her infamous “bag look” from season 13. Ri is another queen who’s consistently doing well but hasn’t won a challenge yet, so it feels like just a matter of time for her to snatch a win.
4. Jaymes Mansfield
Jaymes Mansfield has already completely redeemed her “first-out” reputation from Drag Race season nine. On All Stars 8, this queen has had two “high” placements and is clearly being appreciated by the judges. This is a solid group of queens for acting and comedy challenges, but Mansfield appears to be a strong contender to get far in the competition.
3. Kahanna Montrese
After winning the first episode and landing in the bottom during episode two, Kahanna Montrese wasn’t too bothered about being “safe” in the third episode. Only three queens have won maxi challenges so far, Montrese being one of them, which automatically bumps her up in this power ranking.
2. Jessica Wild
It’s always wild (pun intended) to see queens from season two competing in modern-day seasons of All Stars, and Jessica Wild is proving why it’s so worth it to bring these OG queens back for another chance. Wild won the maxi challenge of episode three and also defeated lip sync assassin Ra’Jah O’Hara, earning herself a rolled-over cash tip of $30,000.
1. Jimbo
Jimbo won the acting challenge of episode two and received top critiques during episode three, which absolutely makes the Canada’s Drag Race alum a frontrunner on All Stars 8. Though some fans think that Jimbo’s “high” placement in the third episode is debatable, the judges are clearly loving what she’s bringing to the show, which is ultimately all that matters.
