Colton Underwood is a bachelor no longer!

Reality star Underwood and political strategist Jordan C. Brown were wed on Saturday in front of 200 of their closest friends and family in a gorgeous and romantic ceremony at the Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa Valley.

The three-day event kicked off with “a disco-themed pool party,” Underwood told People. “It’s going to be a fun wedding,” he added, “I’ll say that!”

Underwood said of the event that they intended to break the traditional norms of what a wedding ceremony typically looks like. “And for the entire weekend, we recognize that a lot of people attending, both of our families and some of our friends, this will be their first queer wedding. We really want to make it special,” he said.

One of the ways they did this was what they called their “loving walk”, which began with a photo display of the couple that greeted the guests as they made their way to the ceremony.

“It’s inspired from a coffee table book that I was gifted after I came out called Loving and it’s images of men in love throughout history,” explained Underwood. “We blew them up and put them on canvases and set them around the resort,” he says. “Next to them will be love letters from queer people in the 18th and 19th century that were forbidden or they had to send in secret.”

“It’s really cool,” added Brown. “It helps us to pay tribute to the people who paved the way for all same-sex couples who now can get married.”

The ceremony took place outdoors, something that was essential for the couple. “We wanted trees around and sunshine,” shared Brown. “It was really important for us to get married outside.”

And they paid homage to nature in their wedding attire as well. Both of the grooms wore custom Tom Ford suits; Underwood’s was in a deep green, while Ford’s was blue — both inspired by their natural surroundings.

The couple first met at a party in Los Angeles in April 2021 and were engaged the following year. Underwood says he fell hard and fast for his husband-to-be. “I’ve never been more sure about something. He has the biggest heart and he’s such a good friend to all of the people in his life. He goes out of his way to take care of his friends and his family,” he said. “That speaks volumes. It was one of the first things that I noticed about him.”

And now the two have forged their own family. “I love the family that we’ve created already,” Underwood told People. “Having our two dogs and our home and this wedding, we’ve really created a life that feels so compatible and in sync.”

While his love story didn’t go quite the same way fans expected when they first met Underwood on The Bachelor, it’s beautiful to see he did get his fairytale ending after all. Here’s to a happily ever after for Underwood and Ford.
