Troye Sivan Teases 'One Of Your Girls' Music Video Starring Ross Lynch
This marks the third music video from his upcoming album Something to Give Each Other.
Troye Sivan fans are getting doubly blessed this week. Not only is his new album releasing on Friday, but a third music video from it is dropping later today—and the teaser is already here.
Next up on the list of singles from Something to Give Each Other is “One of Your Girls,” a song Sivan recently spoke about in conversation with The Guardian, explaining that it’s about “experiences that I had with guys who had not previously been with guys, and were showing me interest.”
“Sometimes those experiences had left me feeling great, sometimes they had left me feeling really sad,” he said. “It probably comes from childhood [feelings] of not feeling like enough, and then seeing these guys that I’m like, ‘I don’t know if I want to be you or be with you, but I’m completely ‘hearteyes’ for you’ … I found that a lot of the time after these experiences, I’d be kind of selling myself short or allowing myself to be the secret. It’s a bit self-deprecating.”
The promotional video for “One of Your Girls” both teases the bittersweet but flirty sound of the song, as Sivan sings “Look at you / Skip the application, interview / Sweet like Malibu / Look at you,” before shooting the camera a wink.
Perhaps of particular note for this upcoming music video is the inclusion of Teen Beach Movie’s Ross Lynch, looking hunky as he poses with unbuttoned jeans and his hands on his hips.
Fans are already hyped and eager to see what Sivan has in store—not to mention coming up with their own theories.
