Ever since her breakout role in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, Ruby Rose has been making a name for herself in action-thrillers that include the likes of XXX: The Return of Xander CageJohn Wick: Chapter 2, and The Meg

And now, the gender fluid actor is going to continue that legacy of complete badasserie in her latest confirmed role: Batwoman!

According to reports from Entertainment Weekly, The CW has officially cast Ruby as the iconic superheroine in an upcoming standalone series to premiere on the network in the near future.

EW also reports that the character (whose civilian name is Kate Kane) will be introduced later this year during the network's DC winter crossover specials.

Batwoman is also confirmed to be television's first leading lesbian superhero

We can't wait to see what Ruby delivers to the role!
