According to some rumors, Richard Madden's character in The Eternals might also be queer.

Ever since it was confirmed that fan-favorite Thor character Valkyrie (played by openly bi actress Tessa Thompson) will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first explicitly queer superhero, we've been anxiously waiting for the start of Marvel Studio's Phase 4.

After years of waiting, LGBTQ+ superhero fans will finally get to start seeing themselves represented on the big screen, but as it turns out, Valkyrie might not be the openly queer hero we get to look up too...

According to a report in the We Got This Covered blog, Ikaris, a hero played by Game of Thrones and Rocketman star Richard Madden in the upcoming flick The Eternals, is also set to be queer.

While that does sound exciting, because We Got This Covered's source is unnamed, we unfortunately have to take this reported news with a grain of salt. Still, PRIDE has been covering rumors of an explicitly queer MCU hero for a while now, and it's nice to see conversations being had about LGBTQ+ representation in superhero media.
