'Texts from Hillary' Clinton Meme Goes Viral

A new political meme on Tumblr has gone viral, and unlike many of the most recent ones to hit the Internet, this one is HIL-arious (pun intended).

Texts From Hillary was created by Adam Smith and Stacy Lambe, and is based on two photos (by Diana Walker for Time and Kevin Lamarque for Reuters) taken of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton texting and sporting some very chic sunnies on a military C-17 aircraft last October.

The memes depict Clinton supposedly texting with politicians including President Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (“Baby in the room next to me at the hotel wouldn’t stop crying last night. Thought of you. LMAO”), Mitt Romney, and Sarah Palin.

Of course, it doesn’t end there. There are memes for people from all demographics, such as fans of Oprah, Jeff Winger of Community, and that oh-so-amazing guilty pleasure of just about everyone who watches TV, Pretty Little Liars.

The creators of the Tumblr revealed to Mashable just where they came up with the fantastic idea. “Mind you, this all happened at the bar after a few drinks,” says Lambe. “Of course, I’m waiting for Hillary to text me,” he added.
