Pride Month might be over, but you can still celebrate queer artists year-round with Proud 365, a brand new monthly showcase of LGBTQ+ musicians presented by singer-songwriter Jesse Saint John and Mixed Feelings.
The first event takes place at the Morrocan Lounge in Los Angeles on August 17 and features artists Parson James, VINCINT, JHart, Kevin McHale, Chester Lockhart, Simon Curtis, Bronze Avery, Vardaan Arora, Davy Boi, Jared Gelman, and Fie1ds. (Many of these openly queer artists are featured on PRIDE's Bops 4 Gays playlist!)
"It was important to me to curate this event because it feels like once June ends the talent in our community gets less opportunity," Saint John told PRIDE. "I wanted to make a celebration of all of us artists for the rest of the year! We’re still here, we’re still viable 365 days a year! Also a lot of us are genuinely friends, so it feels like a fun moment to show we’re stronger together."
