Taylor Swift is in full-bearded male drag in her latest music video for "The Man."
Directed by Swift herself, she tackles sexism head-on and she's not holding back any criticisms, oh at all.
"They say I played the field before I found someone to commit to," Swift sings. But she believes if she was a man, "That would be okay for me to do/Every conquest I had made would make me more of a boss to you."
The music video is a commentary on the double standard on how men and women are treated when they assert their authority. As a man, Swift gets inconsolably angry, throws tantrums, man-spreads, pees where he wants, and no one stands up to him. In fact, he's celebrated, a stark difference from the critiques Swift has faced her entire career.
