Their message? "Respect mother nature and your roots."

Dive into the world of Wastewomxn, a collective of three unbinary aliens who have "come down to earth to share a message: respect mother nature and your roots."

Comprised of Adedamola Bajomo, Tobi Adebajo, and Kyoko Takenaka, the trio just premiered their second single, "Natural Ones," a bizarrely hypnotizing and funky call to action with storytelling in Japanese, Yoruba, and English.

Described as "multidisciplinary artists that thrive in many different mediums," Wastewomxn is "as fluid in sound as they are in gender and genre—ranging from punk, and R&B to Hip-Hop and world music. As diasporic artists based in the UK and the US, they are constantly finding ways to bypass a colonial lens on their existences—connecting directly within their mother tongues and incorporating storytelling in both Japanese and Yoruba into their work."

While their sound is unique and fresh, you might've caught their debut single on Zoë Kravitz's Hulu hit TV show, High Fidelity. Expect new music from Wastewomxn this summer!
