Bow down to pop royalty!

Madonna’s oldest child, Lourdes Leon, has now launched her own music career with a brand-new single and music video. She has released this song under the stage name Lolahol.

On Wednesday, August 24, Lolahol dropped a trippy and stunning music video for “Lock&Key” directed and produced by Eartheater. On Instagram, Eartheater is identified as Trinity Vigorsky. According to the credits, Lolahol and Eartheater were also collaborators on the lyrics of the song.

You can watch Lolahol’s full music video for “Lock&Key” below.

On her own Instagram account (@lourdesleon), Leon has already rebranded her name to Lolahol, so it’s safe to assume that she’ll be going by this new stage name starting now. Despite primarily working as a model throughout her adult life, 25-year-old Lolahol is clearly now launching a music career of her own.

Besides being the daughter of Madonna, the Queen of Pop, Lolahol has been connected to other musicians like Kali Uchis as of late. During the music video, Lolahol proudly shows off the “M-O-M” tattoo she has split across the three middle fingers of her right hand – which is an obvious nod to her legendary mother.

Lolahol will obviously want to carve her own path as a musician, but one would be remiss to ignore her Madonna-esque move to reinvent herself under a new stage name and release a boundary-pushing music video in the process. Who knows, maybe a new pop supreme is rising in front of our very eyes!
