Submit a Breast Cancer Awareness Video For It Takes An Army of Women’s Campaign

In honor of upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness month, It Takes An Army of Women has launched a video campaign project. It’s an opportunity for you to share your personal story with others, to inspire and motivate them to join the Army of Women and get involved in breast cancer research.

Has your life been touched by breast cancer?

For far too many women, the answer is yes. Either someone they know and love, or they themselves, have battled breast cancer.

In honor of upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness month, It Takes An Army of Women has launched a video campaign project that SheWired will be featuring throughout the month of October. It’s an opportunity for you to share your personal story with others, to inspire and motivate them to join the Army of Women and get involved in breast cancer research.

Breast cancer is not a man or woman's disease—it's a family disease. So, we want to hear ALL of your stories. Your call to action is simple: Turn on your video camera and tell us two things. First, tell us about the moment you knew breast cancer had changed your life. Then, tell us about the moment you knew your life could change breast cancer. (Think It Gets Better campaign videos).

In October, the Army of Women blog will begin showcasing selected videos. Check out a sample, Rose’s and Helena’s stories:

Learn more about how to share your video about how breast cancer has affected your life and family, here. The first deadline for submissions is coming up this Friday, September 23, but videos will continue to be accepted and featured in the coming months.
