Queer people of all shades and identities showed off their brilliance this past Sunday as part of a social media initiative called #QPOCVisibilityDay, a whole day used to throw a flawless wrench into all of the erasure that tends to happen on a daily basis.
From microaggressions to systemic discrimination, it's real out here for queer folks of color. Just showing up in your full glory and being celebrated is important, and that's exactly what folks did...

Those with funky hair participated...
And headwraps...
And caps.
People showing off everybody’s favorite Snapchat filter…
Even Janet Mock got in on the fun!
And Wade Davis!
And even those who joined the fun a day late managed to participate in all of the inclusiveness and visibility!
If you missed the big day, don't be sad. Yes, it’s elusive, but there's no doubt there will be another #QPOCVisibilityDay soon enough.
