In a social media sphere obsessed with the current moment, one hero emerges: Throwback Thursday, or TBT. A favorite hashtag for Instagram users the world over, the idea behind TBT is simple: on Thursdays, it’s encouraged to post an old picture of yourself or your friends or that totally delicious mac and cheese you had on vacation. It’s a chance to finally post that picture you forgot to post in the heat of the moment! Of course, TBT can reach even further back than last summer.
