19 Kids and Counting star Derick Dillard is in hot water after making transphobic remarks on Wednesday.
Dillard, who is married to Jill Duggar, became incensed by a tweet from TLC advertising its show I Am Jazz, which follows the life of a transgender 16-year-old, Jazz Jennings.
Remarking that "'transgender' is a myth," Dillard's tweet went on to state that "gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God."
Dillard, a 28-year-old father of two, is part of a family that is no stranger to controversy.
In 2015, reports revealed that Josh Duggar had molested four of his sisters and a babysitter, which led to TLC temporarily cancelling 19 Kids and Counting.
And the show that took its time slot? I Am Jazz. Which could potentially be a factor in Dillard's negative tweet.
Twitter instantly took Dillard to task:
Dillard claimed to have "nothing against him," of course refusing to use Jazz's preferred pronoun:
But for some, that wasn't enough:
Many felt like it might be time to take the Duggars off the air for good:
Looks like Dillard needs to think twice next time before tweeting:
