On the other end of the line sat Lyle Menendez, who was calling to offer his congratulations on Koch’s nomination as Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series or Movie for playing Lyle’s brother, Erik, in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
“He was jealous that I was at Wimbledon this weekend,” Koch told Entertainment Weekly later, still laughing at the surreal timing. “He called to send his congrats and was very, very sweet.”

HBO Max’s new reality experiment, Back to the Frontier, just premiered, but the show has already become a culture-war flashpoint thanks to the presence of Texas husbands Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs with their 10-year-old twin sons. The series, produced by Magnolia Network’s Chip and Joanna Gaines, drops three modern families into an 1880s homestead and strips away every 21st-century convenience.
Over the weekend, evangelical heavyweight Franklin Graham called the casting “very disappointing,” warning that “promoting something God defines as sin is in itself sin.”

Bobby Berk has been exploring new creative endeavors since his sudden and shocking departure from Netflix's Queer Eye reboot. Now, it seems like the interior designer has found a new home for this next phase of his career — and it somehow involves actor and former wrestler John Cena.
On Wednesday, July 9, HGTV revealed that Berk will cohost a new series — currently under the working title Junk or Jackpot? — that happens to be executive produced by Cena.

Netflix plans to end reality television showQueer Eye after Season 10, the streaming platform announced Wednesday. The show, which premiered in 2018, is the streamer's longest-running unscripted series to date. It's unclear exactly why the show is ending—the reason has not yet been announced.
The original Fab Five, consisting of Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, and Bobby Berk, have all become public figures in their own right since the show started seven years ago. But after season 8, Berk left the show and was replaced by Jeremiah Brent.
