It's Friday night, Los Angeles Pride weekend. Where are you? I don't know where you are, but I know for sure I was at GirlBar. Dani Frank, the club's newest promoter, brought in Canadian rock/indie group Hunter Valentine to play the kickoff pride party.
She packed the house as usual, with all types of women (my wife, and yours) all rocking to the the sounds of the extremely talented and very easy on the eyes ladies of HV. The girls went on at midnight, exploding their sounds through the life-size speakers, and I'm sure you could hear them for blocks. Out of all of the pride events I went to, this was by far one of the best.
Frank continues to make a name for herself in the Los Angeles lesbian spectacle, by combining musicians that are about to explode onto the scene, and artists that are not only fresh and exciting, but so talented and unique. I think if she keeps things up she will be the next powerhouse in the world of promoters.
This is shot on Flipcam in a club, so the audio is not the best but the Hunter Valentine girls are so cute it's still fun to watch.
