Get ready for even more Jessica Jones goodness. In the latest trailer released by Netflix, we get to know troubled ex-superhero Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) even better, as well as the supervillain Kilgrave (David Tennant) whose mind control powers are ruining her life and the lives of those around her. We even get a much lengthier glimpse than the previous trailer provided of Jeryn Hogarth, a queer high-powered lawyer played by Carrie-Anne Moss. This wildly high-energy trailer promises as much action, drama, and whiskey as we could hope for, and now we really can't wait the next 10 days until Jessica Jones drops on our Netflix accounts.
Of course, there are more reasons to be excited about Jessica Jones rather than just because it looks so awesome. We recently reported that a New York Comic Con screening revealed that Jessica may have had a romantic relationship with another female character in the past, making Jessica the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first queer female lead. And with Carrie-Anne Moss' character substantially in play, the LGBT character count is already going pretty strong. Consider us glued to our couches on November 20th and completely ready to fall in love with all things Jessica Jones.
