Kylie Minogue to Play Lez in Werewolf Flick

After almost a decade, pop star Kylie Minogue is heading back to the silver screen. This time, she’s playing gay.

In the upcoming film Jack and Diane, Kylie will portray Tara, a “heavily tattooed” lesbian.

Filmsalt.com, a division of film’s production company created for their last film, provided IMDB.com with the following synopsis: “Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane must struggle to keep their love alive while hiding the secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is giving her werewolf-like visions.”

Ellen Page and her Juno bff Oliva Thirlby were once attached to this project but they've been replaced with Juno Temple and Riley Keough (who played Marie Currie in The Runaways).

According to New York Post, a source reported "Kylie does have one love scene where she kisses a girl. Her fans will be surprised to see her in this role, but her performance is good."

Kylie’s last film was Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge!, in which she made an appearance as absinthe’s answer to pink elephants, the green fairy. Minogue originally rose to fame in the Australian soap opera, Neighbors.
