Sasamekikoto is a new Japanese anime series about lesbians! Sasamekikoto is a comedy-drama that explores many of the common tropes of the "Girls Love," or "Yuri," genre. After finishing midterms, Azusa, invites Sumika to go to a fanzine event. Sumika accepts going to a camp planned by Tomoe with the “Girls’ Club,” forgetting that she got Azusa excited over the fanzine event.
Episode 9: Like a Sunflower
After finishing midterms, Azusa, invites Sumika to go to a fanzine event. Azusa passionately persuades Sumika to author a fanzine with her. Sumika does not comprehend everything that Azusa tells her, not wanting the truth of “Orino Masaka” to be revealed. Azusa mistakenly thinks that Sumika is all in with her and creates an original novel. Sumika accepts going to a camp planned by Tomoe with the “Girls’ Club,” forgetting that she got Azusa excited over the fanzine event. With great excitement, Azusa shows Sumika the draft of the novel but Sumika responds to her saying “Was I suppose to do something?”
