SheWired's Shot of the Day: Julianna Margulies' 'Good Wife' Gets Naughty for Bazaar

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Today we bring you The Good Wife gone bad in a good way, with Julianna Margulies for the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar. While Julianna’s sex appeal is undeniable – see her make-out scene with Kyra Sedgwick in What’s Cooking? – here’s wishing the male model were replaced with Archie Panjabi, who plays the show’s resourceful if not smoldering investigator Kalinda Sharma.

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because...

Today we bring you The Good Wife gone bad in a good way, with Julianna Margulies for the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

The Emmy winner for ER has garnered plenty of acclaim, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Alicia Florrick on CBS’ excellent legal / political drama The Good Wife.

Julianna’s Alicia is an attorney, mother and wife who becomes the family’s soul breadwinner at a powerful law firm of defense attorneys when her husband (Chris Noth), a disgraced district attorney, is caught in a sex scandal.

Here’s what she had to say to Bazaar about Alicia:
It’s a challenge because she’s so far from who I am. I’m not saying I’m a crazy sexual person, but she’s such a repressed Wasp. I think the beautiful part of this journey she is on as a woman is that now she’s finding out who she is through her work and also discovering what sexy is to her.”

While Julianna’s sex appeal is undeniable – see her make-out scene with Kyra Sedgwick inWhat’s Cooking? – here’s wishing the male model in these photos were replaced with Archie Panjabi, who plays the show’s resourceful if not smoldering investigator Kalinda Sharma.

And believe me, if my Photoshop skills were up to par that might have already happened!
