'Skins' Lesbian Lothario Tea Gets a Teaser: Video

The American remake of Skins – a much tamer rendition than its British inspiration – has been losing conservative advertisers due to its reasonably realistic depiction of teens doing drugs, engaged in frank conversations about sex and in various states of – gasp—foreplay. Now, MTV has released a teaser trailer featuring lesbian character Tea’s storyline. But you can only view the trailer if you’re of age or able to do the math, as the video requires you plug in your birthday.

Skins premiered last week to tepid reviews and disgust via the Conservative Parents' Television council, prompting corporations espousing upstanding morals including GM and Taco Bell to pull advertising.

The show’s premiere only alluded to Tea’s (Sofia Black D'Elia) Sapphic leanings but from the looks of the trailer Tea might turn out to be a regular lesbian lothario.
