#PrideMonth is nearly at its end, which inevitably means that the nationwide spotlight on the LGBT community will dim. We'll have to fight, once again, for our stories and voices to reach mainstream society because the allure of page views and monthly relevance will have faded. That's alright, though, because we've survived and overcome far worse than media ignorance.

However, the near end of the month seems the perfect time to make one last big statement, not only for ourselves but also for those who desperately need to listen and recognize the humanity of the queer community. After all, before we're queer, we're human.

In honor of #PrideMonth, we at PRIDE wanted to take a moment to get to know our readers better and share your stories. Before we transition to July, we wanted to do one last project — one that reveals the diverse experiences of coming out. That is why we created the first PRIDE Coming Out Survey.

Your ANONYMOUS answers to the form below will be included in a PRIDE infographic to be published shortly after this survey is closed. It's not long, and doesn't take more than five minutes to complete. Please share with your friends and networks, so that we can show the world the unique perspectives, and oftentimes cruel realities, of queer people of all different identities and backgrounds. Thank you in advance for your bravery and thoughtfulness!
