Emeli Sandé, the singer-songwriter who rose to fame with her 2012 smash hit song "Next To Me", has opened up about her relationship with a woman.

The 35-year-old was previously married to marine biologist Adam Gouraguine in 2012 but divorced two years later. Metro now reports she's fallen for a classical pianist who she calls "the one for life."

"We met through music," Sandé shared. "And I definitely feel happier than ever. It feels great."

The relationship has inspired her upcoming album Let's Say For Instance, out May 6th. Her latest single, "There Isn't Much", features lyrics like "Cause no matter who I love/and no matter who I touch/I'm afraid there isn't much/without you." The one-shot video shows an emotional Sandé surrounded by female dancers recruited from "the queer community," according to the video's director Mareike Macklon. "For me, true love and having love in your life makes everything fit into place," she said of the song.

Though she's shared her new relationship with the world, Sandé isn't quite ready to label herself just yet but is leaning toward bisexual. "I’m not sure what I identify as but I guess so. I just feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with."
