This New Series Showcases the Geekier Side of Gay Culture
The Invisible Bunch is for all the gay geeks out there!
Often, when we think of how gay people are represented in the media we, think of shows like Looking and Fire Island. We think of abs, Speedos, parties, and drama.
Director C. Edwards is hoping to change that with his new project, The Invincible Bunch.
A Kickstarter for the web series shows five very different looking gay men sitting around a tabletop playing a Dungeons and Dragons-type game. While attempting to play the game, the men keep getting sidetracked by discussing boys and the challenges that come from gay dating in the time of mobile apps.
"Can these mismatched companions learn to get along?" the Kickstarter page for the show reads. "What are the chances of rolling three natural twenties in a row? Is it against a Paladin's order to use Tinder? And can we talk about Nightwing's butt?? All of these questions will be answered... and more."
Watch the trailer for the show below and help The Invincible Bunch reach their $25,000 goal by donating to their Kickstarter!
