After the massive success of Marvel's Black Panther, it looks like the world is going to be treated to even more of Erik Killmonger's story! That's right, the fan-favorite villain—who was portrayed in the film by the personification of perfection Michael B. Jordan—is getting his own comic miniseries!

According to ComicBook.com, the first issue of the upcoming five-part Killmonger series, simply entitled Killmonger, is set to go on sale on December 5.
"I wanted to explore the choices and the failures that lead a person to dedicate their life to revenge, and how that happens," Killmonger writer Bryan Edward Hill told Vulture about the creation of the miniseries, illustrated by artist Juan Ferreyra. "With Erik, I feel like it’s really a tragedy. It’s a story of a guy who was failed a lot by Wakanda in certain ways, by the people he met outside of Wakanda, by his own conscience in other ways, and I wanted to paint a portrait of that. Because to me, the iconic fight between Erik Killmonger and T’Challa is tragic. It’s something that shouldn’t happen. It’s a conflict that’s borne from a tragic misunderstanding and a young man who was violently taken from his home."
Are we glad we get to learn more about Killmonger and his motives? Hell yeah we are! Are we also a little disappointed that the miniseries will be released in comic form, instead of a TV or film project? Trutfully told, yes...but only because we want to see Michael B. Jordan reprise his epic role!
Whatever, we'll get over it.
We can't wait to read Killmonger when it hits comic store shelves on Devember 5!
