Same, Finn. Same.

We're less than a month away from the official release of the final chapter in Star Wars' epic Skywalker saga, and although we have a ton of questions in regards to what exactly is gonna happen in The Rise of Skywalker, there is one burning question that I, as a lifelong queer Star Wars fan, would be remiss not to ask: is there gonna be some actual #FinnPoe action happening?!

Ever since the two met in 2015's The Force Awakens, the internet has been shipping Resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and ex-stormtrooper turned hero Finn (John Boyega), with hopes of them becoming the Star Wars movie franchise's first explicitly LGBTQ+ characters. While Isaac and Boyega have both expressed that they would be totally down for both their characters to have their sexualities explored/confirmed on-screen, it has yet to happen, and with the Skywalker saga coming to a close in only a matter of weeks, FinnPoe shippers are really starting to get anxious...

However, stans can breathe a small, tiny, short sigh of relief, because thanks to some new stills published by Entertainment Weekly, we were treated to some FinnPoe content. Specifically, this picture of Finn staring at Poe's arm, and hanging out with Rose during what looks to be some very important Resistance meeting:

Okay, okay, we know Finn is probably looking off at something else in the distance and not at Poe's impressive bicep, and we know nothing is probably ever going to happen on-screen between our two star-crossed lovers, but a gay can dream, right?!? It's literally the only thing keeping me going in this otherwise toxic AF fandom

Anyways, when EW released the stills, the loyal FinnPoe shippers came out in full force:
