This Homoerotic Spider-Man & Venom Comic Is...Intense

Apparently Venom wants to "pound" Spider-Man "so hard."

We never knew shipping Spider-Man and Venom together was an actual thing, but after learning about a certain...um, let's just say...intense scene between the two iconic characters in the recently-released Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #2 comic, we totally see it now.

We don't have much context (since we haven't read the comic yet), but in what can only be described as a super homoerotic beach stand-off, brief-wearing Peter Parker (who has taken off his Spidey suit and is dripping wet for some reason) yells, "You want me? Then take me! I'm yours" to his rival Venom.

In the next panel, Venom (who is also wet and now wearing nothing but a black speedo) yells back: "Noooo! I'm going to pound you so hard for this Spider-Man!"

Whew...

The hilarious part is that the comic is self-aware about how over-the-top all of this Spidey x Venom action is, with a unnamed fisherman yelling "REALLY?! Are you hearing yourselves?" at our nearly-naked heroes in the next frame.

(Same, fisherman. Same.)

So will there be more homoerotic scenes between Spider-Man and Venom in the future? We sure hope so!!

Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #2 is available now, wherever comics are sold.
