The fall TV season is officially upon us, and with it comes a whole bunch of amazing, inclusive new shows that LGBTQ+ viewers can indulge in. One of those queer-friendly titles comes in the form of Netflix's latest fantasy series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

The show serves as a prequel to legendary puppeteer and Muppets creator Jim Henson's 1982 movie The Dark Crystal and features a stacked voice cast that includes the likes of Rocketman star Taron Egerton and Star Wars legend Mark Hamill. But what fans old and new are most excited about is the fact that the series features not one, but TWO queer couples.

A main character named Deet (voiced by Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel) has two dads...

...and two female characters, Onica (Natalie Dormer) and Tavra (Caitriona Balfe), are also reportedly in a relationship!

Not gonna lie, when the series was first teased we weren't sure what to expect and we had no clue it was going to be remotely LGBTQ-inclusive, but now that we know what we know, we'll definitely be adding the first season of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance to our watchlists annd binging every single episode!

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is currently streaming on Netflix. Watch the official trailer in the video below.
