DC Comics' Pride 2021 Variant Covers Are Absolutely Stunning
DC Comics is celebrating Pride Month 2021 in the most GORGEOUS way possible!
Pride season is right around the corner, and iconic comic publisher DC has big plans in store to celebrate all of the legendary queer heroes in their arsenal!
Slated for a June 8 release, DC just announced the release of DC Pride #1, a special, 80-page anthology comic that features LGBTQIA+ characters from across the DC Universe, with appearances from fan favorites like Batwoman, Renee Montoya, Alan Scott, Midnighter, Apollo, Extraño, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Constantine, and so many more!
But that's not all DC is doing to celebrate Pride Month! Throughout the month of June, they'll be releasing nine colorful AF Pride-themed variant covers of some of their most popular titles (like Nightwing, Superman, and Harley Quinn, just to name a few), with artwork from some of today's most popular comic artists like Kris Anka, Jen Bartel, Stephen Byrne, Paulina Ganucheau, Travis G. Moore, David Talaski, Kevin Wada, and Yoshi Yoshitani!
The Pride variant covers, as well as the DC Pride anthology, are all absolutely stunning, but don't just take out word for it! Scroll through to see some of them for yourself before they hit comic book store shelves this June!
