Six real-life couples open up about their experiences when a partner transitions in Cut's heartwarming new video, Love in Transition.
If your partner comes out as transgender and embraces their true self, it can feel like you're getting to know them all over again. These couples opened about a few of their romantic highs and lows, how they met, their coming outs, and falling in love with each other all over again, all set to Elvis Presley’s classic song "Can’t Help Falling In Love."
"She was going to break up with me if I didn't transition because I was kind of an asshole," one interviewee says. "When you're fighting yourself and fighting everything at work you're kind of struggling, your depression comes out in the wrong ways."
With nearly 200,000 views, the video is raising money for The Sylvia Rivera Law Project and "showcases how each couples’ love transforms, deepening as they learn more about each other’s truth and resilience."
