Jane Lynch's History Making Golden Globe win for Glee

TracyEGilchrist
Jane Lynch made history Sunday as the first openly gay woman to win a Golden Globe Award! And who better to carry that mantle than a wickedly funny woman who has worked endlessly for years turning ever-watch-able performances in Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, The L Word, voiceover work on The Family Guy and finally, her famous Coach Sue Sylvester on Glee.

It's been Lynch's year since landing her role on the wildly popular freshman series that makes music nerds into heroes. As the show's villain, Coach Sue, Lynch has rose to meteoric fame, even continuing to land even more gigs, including voiceover work on The Cleveland Show.
